Wanted to go to the clubhouse but got stuck at the in laws. For some reason my wife's aunt decided 5pm on superbowl sunday was a good time to visit.

Watched the Superbowl at the Legion with the wife. Had a pretty good time and TONS of great food. Probably ate too much, but hey, only live once.

Funny (sad/sick) thing is that her opponents in the primary are not behind that advertisement. That ad was bought and paid for by New York City mayor Bloomberg and his gun control buddies.

A totally useless "story"

ETA: My response:

Wow, talk about a non-story. Of course denials are up, applications are at an all-time high. The question is how many of these denials are "real" denials, such as a felon trying to get a permit, and how many are due to errors in the application? How many denials are appealed? How many appeals are won by the applicant?
How about some journalism instead of reprints of "fluff" propoganda?
