Knowing what they pay security guards these days, I'm surprised he went as far as to give her a ride. For $7.25/hr, I'd have told you to call AAA.

Back in the OLD DAYS when I took driver education class, as part of the class, we were taught how to change a tire. We also learned to change a tire in auto shop class. Then my dad taught me how to change a tire, or that is what he told me he was doing when he watched me change his flat tire.
