Negative. The Black Signature After Hours Cabela's event is Friday 09 NOV 2012. Cabela's did send their bi-weekly flyer yesterday. Sales start SUN 04 NOV thru WED 21 NOV. Nothing really caught my attention in the flyer.

They will have these on sale.

& I'm going to try one and see how well it works. Standing on the train platform in the AM the wind is a killer!

I currenlty have something like this in gray

But it's close to 5 years old and it's not holding back the wind anymore. The material is just too worn out.

Sadly from what I have seen Cabela's only carries Balaclava in camo or bright orange color. Not too happy with those colors. May have to go LL Bean or elsewhere depending on the price.

Apart from those items I seriously doubt Cabela's is going to have the LEE dies for .30 carbine in the store. Their online store does not have them. Looks like it might have to be Graf & Sons afetr all. Looks like they only carry the more popular calibers which makes sense.

Jedi, If you would like, I can get some Balaclavas while Im on Fort Knox coming up. I knew we used to have black and tan issues ones, as well as the scarfs that you can wrap yourself for them. Just let me know and Ill get ya the good stuff.

wow, was not trying to do a triple post, but had to catch up.
Today went in uniform to teach flag etiquette and flag history at an Elementary School, to 4 of the 4th grade classes. Was a lot of fun, and surprisingly, they wanted all our autographs. Was actually a really good time, and it was awesome how excited they were to learn about the history of OUR FLAG, as well as our stories in the military. Too bad we didn't have more time to talk, but I guess its better to cut it short then bore them to death. Its something that I always loved as a kid, being able to talk to the Vets that would come into the class, so, have been able to do it for the last year and this one. Makes me feel awesome to remember being the kid in the class asking the questions, and now im the vet, being able to talk to them.

So I'm sitting here missing Indiana. I'm In Wisconsin for some training with my army reserve unit. 90% of the people in my unit live in Illinois, mostly cook county. At least we go to the range in 4.5 hrs.

Let me tell you what a REAL loser does.

When I was layed off 6-8 years ago, I made a myspace page for a My Pet Monster. I took it around the house and took picturs of him on the toilet, laying in a pile of porn liquor and cocaine (baking soda), playing with my dog, etc.
I made up elaborate stories and likes and interests and then made all my friends friend him too.

That knocked a good 4-5 hours off of one of my super boring days.

Let me see if I can find it.

ETA: I left out the one where I captured him with a gun in a ski mask to return him to captivity to avoid the irresponsible gun owner comments...
