Always thought they were a niche item (lawn mower lifts). Well, yeah, they are and dang do they save my back and make the job easier. Mine sits out all summer beside the garage for days like today when I lift it and change blades. 7 minutes tops with my Makita cordless impact and mower lift!
Yup. The right tool makes the job go better.
I've had it around a week, and used it twice.

But there's my mower, my Dad's, the one at the American Legion, and then any neighbor that wants to borrow.

After changing the one blade shaft (bearing), we thought, dang... we SHOULDA bought the other side to change.
    Probably do that next weekend.

They had "sealed" bearings. You know, the ones they say NEVER needs work.
The new ones have ports to lube.

I guess they changed their minds, cause my mower has the ports on them.
This is why, when I looked up the lube points, my dad looked at me funny when I mentioned them.
He only knew about the axle and front tire swivel points.
Mine had the ones for the blades, his didn't.

I'm safely south of US30 ... in Florida. We rented a top floor condo and are on a tiny sliver of land. Back of the condo is ocean front. Front door, 2nd bedroom and dining room overlook the Intercostal Waterway/Matanzas River.

Not sure if the :mullet:raccoon army travels this far south to protect me from thugs, pimps and ne're-do'ells?

Brought a Glock because Tupperware won't rust in the salt air.
