yup. A month or so ago. Knocked out the power to the neighborhood.

    We've been taking our time.
We had the big one was still attached 8 or 10 foot up, and we weren't sure how to safely take it down.

A night or 2 ago, it came the rest of the way down by itself.
    Procrastination for the win!

Was thinking about using a ladder, hooking a cable to the end where it broke, cable to a pulley on a tree to make a 90 degree bend, and then to a truck.
    Then pull.

Woulda sucked to have that happen while we were putting the cable on it.

    Kouts
Been at work since midnight and it was already hot. My crane wouldn't hoist when I got here so they came and got it running by about 1:00. I got maybe a half hour of work out of it before it went out out again. My lift was just high enough to clear everything and make it to my landing. I've been kicked back with the AC blasting, waiting for them to come back since then. Fell asleep at some point when it was still dark and woke up half frozen with the sunlight invading my crane through the window next to the landing. Opened the door and it's still hot as balls out there.
