So, a stairway light broke. The wire going to the light socket pulled off.
I either have to solder and heat shrink, or just replace it.

I was thinking about replacing it.
But, are the bases pretty universal?
I don't want to have to dig the base out of the ceiling. Would be nice if a new light just mates up to what's already there.

Finally replaced the knob on the timer of my washing machine.
Hard to believe it took me this long to buy a $30 part and then screw it on.

Didn't take anytime at all to buy, or install.
