I spent about 10 minutes on a sub. It was at the Museum of Science and Industry. Got to look through the periscope. Quite a thrill for a 10 year old!

If you are ever at the Cleveland lakefront, the USS Cod is on display there and worth visiting. It is a WWII era sub that served in the Pacific during the war. It's been 15 years or so but when I was there, I took a self guided tour through a significant portion of the vessel. They had it set up with all kinds of provisions stored in every nook and cranny.

Working alternating days and nights, I sometimes have to ask what month it is, or if it's still 2022. What day of the week? Hardly ever know that one....
