I have no idea what you're talking about? Whenever I order from the internet anywwhere I see where tax is cheaper, home or work. Then I ship accordingly. Most stuff I order from amazon is always prime eligible, hence free two day shipping, or $3.99/item for one day...and I don't recall having paid tax on amazon.

As for amazon, ok, that sucks that they're gonna charge IN tax. Guess I'll just ship stuff to work, as long as I still work in Chicago. Their prices usually beat the big box stores, anyways, so depending on what you order, it might still be cheaper. Add to that, if they continue the prime benefits as they are, and maybe throw in free/small charge same day delivery when they get that going, it makes sense to me to continue to purchase from them.

Plus, there is no where local I can buy a two pound bag of Sunkist Fruit Gems. I love those things!

I don't think I have the gear. I have the guns, but I only have two mags for my glock 22. No mag holders. No holster. No speed loaders for the shotgun. No mag pouches for the ar. All that stuff is required, right?

I can see why, just ask anyone that owns a cigar store what you can get boxes for on the net. However, there is always alternate shipping/billing addresses. (not that I know from personal experience )

The cigar store issue is not sales tax, that is the OTP tax that is applied to tobacco, that is literally 4x the sales tax rate!

You are suppose to declare internet purchases when you file your state taxes. They say the only people that do are those who have been audited.
That's why I don't buy anything online...
