Plodding along. Just applied to the BMV again. It didn't say whether full time or part time. I hope it was PT. Having a lot of health issues and just can't handle FT right now.

So...
I remembered another gun range within close proximity to NWI.
The New Buffalo MI Gun Club is about a 15 minute ride for me.
I also remembered that a buddy I worked with on the Sheriff's Dept was a member and would sponsor me.
I reached out to him only to find that he had let his membership slip

What's a guy gotta do to find a place to shoot these days !!!

I remember looking that place up and the membership was full too.

I was looking at the staff page for the Crown Point library and saw that the business manager is a girl I went to high school with who has been my Facebook friend for years. I messaged her to see if she knows about anything.

(You like how I say "girl" when we're both in our mid-late 50's? )

could we get away with say each of us putting up 10k and buying a piece of land in south lake county and just putting up a range on it. put a shack of a house so that the county couldmnot say its a biz/range?

The Issac walton guys finnally got back to me, 150 bucks a year for the whole family and not a lot of interference into how or when we shoot, fish hike etc...
Not much of a range but hey what do ya need ?
