Spending a quiet Mother's Day at home here at Chez Snap. Mama Snap does NOT want to go out to dinner because the restaurants are too crowded. She requested ribeyes, baked potatoes, green beans, and apple cobbler a la mode, so that's what I will be fixing.

Just pulled this weeks lunches out of the smoker. Did 6 five pepper brats, apple and cherry wood smoked at 185° for 2 hours

All finished with the wife's Mother's Day gifts. We made 2 concrete 1' leaf-shaped stepping stones for a mother/craft project. Once in the molds, one has the family name pressed in while the other has the kid's name, the year we bought this house, and his feet prints. Fancy glass and stones custom placed around by the both of them. They are currently in the garage setting up. With all the moisture in the air, I'm going to let them sit a week.
