I tossed the new Capital One card Cabela's sent me. I get 2% on anything with my regular card.

Family behind me was cleaning out the house moving the old lady to a home. They threw this mixer out so I grabbed it and threw it in the garage. It's like new again.

Fellow NWI'ers, I may have another reason to hate Bass Pro Shops (besides typically higher prices on the same item). The cashier at Cabelas informed me that I couldn't add today's purchases to my Cabelas Club Rewards card (the green one, not the gold credit card). She said Bass Pro cancelled the perk. You can use whatever balance you may have on the card, you just can't add to it. It never amounted to a windfall, but that 2% did add up. Anyone else get this same news?

I hadn't been to the Bass Pro Shop in sometime. For me, Cabelas is closer, although I do like to window shop around before I pick something up. As you pointed out though, they do have higher prices usually so I tend to save gas and not head out there too often.

eLearning wasn't around when that law was passed. Gotta protect ourselves from ourselves ya know. Think about all the people walking around in flip-flops and shorts this time of year.

Wow. Looking at forecast middle of next week they're calling for overnight temps in the -20's with real feels approaching-50. I sure hope the weathermen are wrong on this one

Yeah. This my forecast for next Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday looks like we could see upwards of 6" of snow. I dont mind the snow but these temps are gonna be brutal if they hold true.
