I turned on the furnace. If it turns on it turns on. I'm not going to bother holding out this year with this week's forecast.

Welcome chilly Friday morning and not a sign of snow to be seen. Need to fire up the snow blower for Jedi this weekend to mock the snow for not showing up.

    Furnace still no worky.

Looks like I may have to break out the bigger hammer and duct tape.

    Desperation is setting in.

Good thing we have a 72 hour emergency food kit. Visions of the Donner party have become common as the temperature in the house has dropped 1 degree down to 65.

Doug Cook 219 545-3664. Very reasonable, unless you have a cracked heat exchanger he can get it running.

Apparently verbal threats, taunting and Yo'Mamma jokes are effective for getting a furnace to work.

    It magically sprung to life.

The 72 hour emergency food kit has been put back into its bucket under the stairs.

    Life is good again.

Rear ended today at Noontime while at a stop light.

North of 30, insured, woman driver didn’t see the stopped traffic in front of her.

    Spilled my coffee.

Just got x-rays. Waiting to hear that it’s only muscle/tissue pain so I can go home. I am sore. Back, neck and right arm.

Minor damage to my rear bumper. Her grill took a direct hit into my trailer hitch.

Hopefully you are medically good to go. And good she is insured. Driving anymore is a pain in the ass. Lot of people farting around on their phones. We just had our 25 year old AC and furnace replaced. Went with an outfit in Valparaiso, Affordable Heating and Cooling. Our house is a little over 2000 square foot tri-level. Total cost for everything was $4,800.00. My brother does HVAC and looked over the quotes and said it was good. Didn't have him do it because he is recovering from an injury. Get well!
