Sounds like it is going to be a safe assumption that the hospital will confirm, via blood tests on the suspect, that 'controlled substances' were involved.
    .

I don’t have a link for it, but the paper reported the “suspect “ was arrested for meth about a month ago. No surprise!

Today was the first day in quite a few weeks where I didn’t have to get up to an alarm, and MAN did I sleep in.
Rolled out of bed at 8:00, which doesn’t sound all that late, but when you figure I get up at 3:30 any other day.

    I definitely needed it.

Now I get to catch up on PMs for the cars and clean a few guns tonight.

    What’s everyone else up to?

Honey-do. Trim the front hedge's so the wife can finish putting out the Halloween decorations. How soon till I hear the order to put up the Christmas lights on the house. :nailbite:

Fun day with the family at Coulter's Farm. Kid must have had too much fun and fresh air. He's still napping breaking the 3 1/2 hour mark. Got the grass mowed.

Halloween train rides at Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum or Hesston Steam Trains for the win. Grand kids are ready to go in two weeks to both.

Wedding was very nice. "Casual Country" ceremony outdoors with the visitors sitting on bales of straw. The vows were punctuated by roosters crowing and dogs barking. Plenty of food and drink. We left before the firepit/DJ action got started.

Dram of WILD TURKEY "Revival" sitting next to me. Its a 101 proof blend of 12 to 15 year old bourbons that were finish aged in 20 year old Olaroso Sherry Casks. In the oven is a winter squash that is stuff with a blend of cubed Proscuitto, mushrooms and leeks.

Hope everyone has a nice quiet evening.
