    How is the Botox working out?

    Works pretty good in conjunction with the gabapentin I take every night.

    But it cuts down on the number, and the intensity. doesn't eliminate them.

    Not being on shift work seems to have helped better.
    But, whenever I'm done with this doctor stuff and go back to work, it'll be back to shift work... so back to more migraines.

    OK, got that.

    Me thinks, that your lack of migraines may be caused by the difference in stress in your life.

    Lots of causes or migraine starters, diet, weather, stress, hereditary, sleep pattern, too much or too little sleep, too little caffeine, I'm sure there are sadly more too, just don't remember them all. They suck.
