Portillo's is not a GFZ per founder CEO Dick Portillo. I OC there once or twice a year.
He sold the chain to Berkshire-Hathaway corporation.
Their corporate policy is very anti-gun.

No reason to risk a stroke.
Go to Zel's instead. Food is better.
Hehe Zel's is good but it certainly isn't a stroke preventative food. Jury is still out on whether it's better to be killed by the food or killed by the process to get food.
Has anyone ever noticed how calm, collected and reasonable jedi can be?
I used to like red Robins but they would usually seat us by the door where all the kids balloons are floating and randomly popping. If you couldn't tell I prefer a stress free dining experience.Well, that was an interesting chain going. Zels is always better than Portillos. Didn't care for 5 guys burgers or fries. Red Robins are great, Schoops is great.
Dual sport as in motorcycle?Portillo's had "No Guns" signs for a period. The signs came down after a while. I witnessed open carry in there after the "No Guns" signs came down and nobody was having a cow. That was about a year ago. Maybe things changed?
Anyway, I'll go against the grain here and say they have the best burgers and fries of any chain ... better than Five Guys, Schoops, Red Robin, etc.
It's a dual sport ... good for the road and trail. The EL is the trail I had in mind. I plan on riding my neighborhood daily and doing a trail at least once a week.
