West Creek is still rising.

169th Street has been officially closed by the county ... but you can make it through the flooded roadway (slowly) in a full size pick up with a minor lift kit.

Also 165th Street is closed (and not passable) west of US41

Wow another fake "outlet mall" with the same BS stores and fake deals as every other outlet mall. Hopefully this doesn't crap up CP like it's surely going to crap up my commute while it's being constructed.

water dribbled into my furnace, onto my control board.


I knew I should have built a deflector plate over it, and bought a spare.
But did I... No.

So, running my little propane heater.
Found the board on amazon and waiting.

New bridge over West Creek on 169th street is above water.

But you can't get to the bridge because 169th is under water.

It was very nice for the genius engineers at the gubmint road dept to raise the new bridge so it would be above the creek level when the creek overflows, too bad they forgot that the road also needed to be raised.

They did not forget.
That cost extra and allows them to issue another contract for additional work. After all the rest was make sure bridge does not flood. The power that be did not say anything about the road.

Outlet stores are just bogus.
Its basically either cloths made FOR THE OUTLET using lower quality material or cloth that failed quality inspection.

But they are still very popular with shoppers and its one of the few retail segments that is still thriving while most other types of retail are experiencing decreases in year-over-year sales.

The fact that the proposed mall will feature several other lifestyle activities makes it even more attractive to tax hungry politicians so the addition of several restaurants, a bowling alley and movie theater spread the appeal across a wider consumer base.

From the tax grabber political standpoint, it actually makes a lot of sense.

Like I said, it is inevitable.

This time I'm making something to deflect the water.

And, after the contract is signed, look into a new roof and furnace.

Done have a lot of info as the automate call had very little info but this is all i know.

This morning at griffith middle school a student brought a handgun into the school building. The student has a valid license to carry. The student upon discoverying the handgun went to the resource officer and explained the situation.

The resource officer took possesion of the handgun and called the griffith police who in turn arrested the student.
At no time was anyone in danger the record ends with.


What a idi....

In talking with my daughter who attends that school she told me. If that would have been me and i found a gun in my bookbag i would have just walked back out the school and gone home or to grandmas or my aunts house. Now that kid is gonna be in troubke for ever.
