My 96 yr old grandmother, Katherine Lewis, passed away very early Friday morning one month short of her 97th birthday.

She lived a long full life. She will be remembered not only by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but also by her great great grandchildren.

Thanks. We are trying to focus more on celebrating her life than mourning her death. It amazes me to think she was born in 1919, and how much she saw the world change.

Morning everyone. Good to be on the other side of that fever. Going back to work today. Missed three days last week-- one for the dog bite and two for the mystery fever that did not seem to be related to the bite.

Larry so sorry to hear this news. I went through a period a couple years ago where I buried several elderly relatives. Always sad, but its also nice to reflect on the life you shared with her, what she did in so many little ways. Share those memories with your kids so her life lives on through them too.
