A couple days ago I saw two skunks walking through the yard. Last night I almost got sprayed by a baby that then ran under my deck. This is not good.

SciFi Donuts is finally open in Griffith.

I bravely drove north of US 30 into thugland just to try the donuts. Very pricy but 1 donut will leave you full for a couple hours. Average price per donut is $2.25, some more, a few are less. They are baked, not deep fried, and then heavily topped with icing and goodies like crushed Oreos, Butterfingers, etc. I bought 9 donuts and returned south to Cedar-ma-tucky to let the teachers at Hanover Central bask in my generosity and graciousness.

Located on S. Broad St, 1/2 block north of the RR tracks or about 3 blocks south of Blythes.

    Skunk pills.
They eat them and then when they go drink water by the river. The water activates the pill and boom they explode at the river. So no mess near you.

Inked the contract for a new roof with K2 Roofing. Filed a claim with the insurance company a few days ago for hail and wind damage, adjuster came out, and the check has been deposited. We got 4 estimates before deciding on them. He seems to have his ducks in a row and is doing the remainder of the discussions with the insurance company. Kind of nice having someone who will work for you like that. Roof should be on about late September.
Now is the part where the usual cast of characters can bring the snark...the owner happens to be a former Marine.

That's why his ducks seemed in a row, proper planning prevents **** poor performance. Also, good on you going the vet route, even if he is a jarhead, wink,

I smelt the skunk so I put bricks where it was getting under the deck. Then poured some stinky asparagus pee under the deck. This morning the brick was moved. Hopefully it was the skunk leaving, for good.

Who has a whole house generator? Who'd you use? Does it run your whole house or essentials? Need info, haven't researched, just thinking random thoughts and figured I'd post.

We do. It is a necessity for us. No power means no water, no sewage, etc. We sized it to run everything, A/C, freezers, house, and barn.

We have a 20Kw NG Generac. MCS Electric installed it for us.
