Wind tipped over my Weber grill. Tossed around some of the lawn chairs.

Driving home at 4, the radio reports were in each town. Munster had 900+, etc.

Yeah I'm watching my remote locations I do computer work for and there are power outages all over the place... Tomorrow morning is going to be a early one and very busy getting things all back on line.

65S was stopped for 3 hours. I had just left CPT when they claimed a possible crash as causing a back up. My buddy was stuck in it. sat in park for 3 hours. then he gets here to load his truck up onto trailer and the down pour starts....

although to be fair there are Illinois people who think they can drive on our roads so....

On a side note, after 94 hours of whatever virus attacked out son, I think he is on the mend. Only 1 fever spike in the past 24 hours and he logged 8 1/2 hours of straight, uninterrupted slumber!

I'm 54 and I don't think I've ever had 8 1/2 hours of straight, uninterrupted slumber.

A buddy of mine, who is taking the train downtown, had to have everyone get off that train and onto another because it iced over and wouldn't work. Now this new train just had the lights cut out. Now I hear a train has stopped...probably his with his luck today.

Updated: 3 1/2hrs. and he is still on the train. It is packed as people are pushing to get on...meanwhile, it is getting too heavy to move in today's conditions. Each time it stops, it has to back up to get a running start.

I'm officially declaring the opening of pothole season. I'll probably get pulled over over under suspicion of DUI this morning because I'm trying to dodge them all.
