Lol I have successfully avoided Ill. for over 15 years now.

I passed the Technician practice test w/out knowing all the detailly stuff.

I took my test in valpo many moons ago.

Find an Amateur Radio License Exam in Your Area

There's one in Valpo on the 14th. It's walk-in and I think it's $15, but check with the sponsoring group to make sure.

I thought about taking that test... I've taken that practice exam and get 34 right normally....

No way would I go to Illinois to take it though...

Trying to find the dang FCC application for the GMRS license but all the links I follow on their site lead to no app...

need some range time pretty soon... Got to work tomorrow for a little while...

You cant take the test gb. The fine print says you must be younger then gb/bob 2 take the test. Lol
