Working midnights tonight. Long day tomorrow to kick off what could be a long "weekend" for me. But it probably won't be since I'm sure there will be call offs and OT available.

So what's everyone been up to?

Going to look at a house in Michigan tomorrow.

More likely a Great Pyrenees. They are a lot more common in the US, and look a lot alike.

Possibly, but they are 75 and 65 lbs.

Took the wife and kids to Navy Pier today for Winter Wonderfest. That place is making money hand over fist. Very busy, but most lines moved pretty quickly. May have freaked out the car waiting for my parking spot when I retrieved my gun and holster from the back of the van, but all went well.

Man have I learned of the Pyrenees roam all too much. Had him get out one night and the only thing that saved me was a full moon and him being white. I don't mind all the barking especially with my wife being a stay at home wife. Hopefully his deep bark is a deterrent from *******s. If not a 45 ACP will.

I used to work there.

Guy I used to work with years ago is a chef up there, I wouldn't want to make the drive from Schererville (where he lives) to there every day, but it must be worth it to him.

Had mine years ago, let it lapse. Been looking at jumping back in again too. Been taking the practice tests here. I'm sure I can pass the Tech, and General, Still have a little work remembering bands and the like for Extra. My hope is to do them all in one sitting.

I'd say if you have any technical background at all, you should be able to pass.

I had been talking with 1911ly here. His group out in South Bend does testing every so often. My thoughts were to go out there for the test.
