I do hope they win. Cause if they do you know the fans will burn Chicago to the ground and well just like Detroit Chicago needs a good cleaning.
So that actually would not be a bad idea.

That is a point. There are a few decent folks in Chi-town though.

Acteon, I'm just complaining about the burning in my feet and hands and the feeling like someone beat my lower back with a tire iron and well the strange blood sugars that seem to have me on a much lower carb diet than what I am use too... I knew it was getting cold when the BS went up and I got to eat nothing for two days...

Other than that everything is a ok with the cold... just saying...

Snap, yeah I fill up on water when this happens, it's what keeps your stomach from grumbling... It's the weather for whatever reason. The hot shower trick to lower blood sugars doesn't work either for the cold...

On the pump it is better as instead of running 250 to 300 bs I can keep it down to around 180 but don't eat anything cause that will spike it no matter how much insulin you take...

For some reason the bs just dropped finally a hour ago to the 70's so I got some hot chili to finally put something in the stomach... This is one of my big push reasons to make the move to a nice warm dry desert.... Arizona baby...

GB, you have a pretty good reason.
    I'm just mentioning everyone else.

Only part of the winter I don't like, is the Grey days.

So today, after my CAT scan, I decide to stop at Applebee's for lunch.
Sit in the part where there's a big glass wall, and the sun is shining.
    Bright and toasty.
I'm feeling real good, I don't get enough time off, or sun.
A family sits behind me, and asks me to lower the blind a bit.
So I lower it till they say "fine".
A little later, they ask for me to lower it some more.
Same, I lower till they say "fine".
Go to the restroom, come back, and one of them is saying "we should have just asked him to lower it all the way".
I smile, sit down, and lower it the rest of the way.
But.. I'm thinking, why would you sit in a room designed to let in the sun if you DIDN'T WANT TO SIT IN THE SUN.
They could sit anywhere else. But didnt.
    Ugh.

Sorry I'm such an A**. I would have told them as nicely as possible that I was sitting there specifically to enjoy the warmth of the sunshine, and if they could please move to a darker spot we could all enjoy our time there.

    I'm a recovering A**.
I was trying not to harsh my mellow.

Worked 40 hours Friday to Sunday.
And it was grey skies and gray walls.
