3/4 of the way through trick-or-treat time. We've had about 20-30 kids so far. I'm handing out candy by the handful.

3/4 of the way through trick-or-treat time. We've had about 20-30 kids so far. I'm handing out candy by the handful.

33 so far..and the portion sizes are increasing for sure. I usually get 75-100, so you can only imagine the kids at the end are raking.

Two appreciative young ladies just scored about 3 lbs of candy each. Done!

The kids made it almost the entire two hours of trick or treating time, but we didn't hit nearly as many houses. That time also included an approximately 15 minute hot chocolate break in one of the local churches. Home and dry now

That is 3 more than we have had show up in the past 8 or 10 years.

When my daughter was little we used to get 5 to 10 a year. But all the kids in the neighborhood grew up and we stopped getting any.

0 here... good thing as we don't have candy here with all the carbs in it... They would have gotten a carrot or a half of a carrot to munch on...

I guess that is how I got them to stop showing up in the first place....

Not sure why but it sounds like someone fired off some really big boomers just now ... Three booms that almost rocked the house...

and another Halloween is over...

1 kid showed up tonight. She got our entire bucket of candy, about 12 pounds. She'll be happy tonight.
