KLB, I would have thought a better plan of action would be to write down the license plate of the hit and run vehicle and call the police... Staying at the scene of the crime to offer assistance to the people that were hit probably would have been a bonus for them...

    Got to wonder...
No kidding. IF you decide to follow, get the address and call the police. At no point would going onto their property be a good decision.

Did anybody get any damage from the storms last night? I woke up to this, this morning. Missed the trampoline by a few inches and crushed 2 lawn chairs.

I haven't checked my back yard. But now I don't want to.

Why wouldn't he just call the police right after the hit-n-run. And tell them he's following the guy. Big mistake on that kids part.

As long as the telescope is ok.....oh, and you all too.

Telescope was safe in the basement. My father in law came over for about 3 hours and we have most of it cut up. About 10 feet left to cut of the big piece plus some smaller branches. I should invest in a chainsaw.

T-Squared, the problem with being wanded and then asked to leave your gun outside of the establishment is that you have just announced to everyone within ear shot that you are putting a gun in your car unattended. Criminals love that....

I had thought of that too....need to get off my arse and get a safe for the vehicles....
