Indiana State Constitution guarantees all children a public school education.

In 1916 my my father graduated 6th grade and at 13 went to work in a sweat shop 60 hours a week and received 25 cents for his labor.

My mother worked as a seamstress from about 12. She did finish high school.

I remember more than one Opening Day, freezing in my winter gear. Strangely, now that my boys are all grown up, I miss it a little, but not much.

We've got us some fancy new schools here in cedar-tucky. I feel so proud when I pay that tax bill.

What has me hopeful for this tri creek referendum being voted down is we just recently got notices from the assessors office with our home values and taxes going up. This upset alot of us. Hopefully it gets people to the polls to vote no.

Saw about shots fired in two different places, also saw one comment of traffic in Highland being held up by police and ambulances. Again, grain of salt.
