Never met a Texan that liked pointy boots. They prefer the wide round toe or flat toe.

What? We must not be going to the same Garcia Brothers concerts.:D

Most Texans ain't Mexicans, at least not yet. Yeah those Tejanos have some crazy toed boots. Those are small. I've seen crazier versions for sale on Preston highway in Louisville, right next to the supermercado and taqueria.

    The parking really sucked badly.
They changed it around since the last time I was there.
We struggled with that all weekend.
2 hours to get in Friday, 1 1/2 hours Sat and 45 min Sunday.
Getting out was just as bad, except Sunday where we just drove right out.
The toilets overflowing in the bathrooms was a joy too.
Aside from that, had a really good time, spent to much $ and now I am sore from all the walking.
Got Gunny's autograph after 2 1/2 hours inline, he is an icon.
While standing there, Trump Jr came up to see him.
Got a picture of Rob Leatham and Max Michel making faces in the background.
That Max Michel was all over the place.

80,000? I would think that on a low side. Especially on Friday. I took me as long to get in and park as it did for me to drive down from Indy on Thursday.

Friday and Saturday was wall to wall people.

Sunday slowed down quite a bit (at least on my side of the hall.)

Saturday was nuts. Sunday was pleasant. IMO Sunday is the day to go. There was still plenty of swag. My kid came back with a bag full of targets, tshirts and patches. Adult sized shirts were probably gone but they were handing out the medium and large sizes by the fistful.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank the volunteers on behalf of my exhibit, the Indiana State Rifle & Pistol Association. This would not happen if not for you.

Whether you were checking firing pins, or manning the NRA store, or setting up seminar rooms, thank you!

This was my first NRA Convention that I was able to attend and I had a good time. It was fairly easy getting there and parking (I did not use 65 to get there), but inside there seemed to be a lot of people and spent a lot of time waiting behind slow people to get out of my way. I guess that could be said about a lot of conventions. I had some family that went Friday and they spent half the time waiting to park. I scored a kydex holster from LAG Tactical for $20 because they don't use the brown kydex anymore. So that was win for me personally because I was looking for a new holster and I saved money. I saw everyones favorite youtube guy (Yeager) and I thought I saw Sootch00 there, but not certain. It was a good time and glad there were a bunch of people that came out, at least gives me hope.

I enjoyed my time working the Registration at South A. Looking forward to volunteering when it hits Indy, again!
