When I passed a kidney stone at home and I showed my wife, she didn't believe that something so small could cause so much pain.
I was told, the small ones are sharp, and CUT when they move.
I believe it, cause the tests showed blood in the urine, and because they had to put stints in to hold things open, and antibiotics to heal things.

    Not very fun.

Big ones are bad, because they block stuff. Don't cut as much though.

I think I really need to get that key storage lock put up.
I locked myself out because I didn't want to bring to much to the hospital, and I had shut the door 5:30 AM, when I realized MAYBE house key would have been good.

Or to put the the key thingy (has a key in it, and you enter a combo) up.
It's sitting by my microwave waiting.
Or join the 21st century and get a keyless digital entry lock. Enter a code, open it with your phone etc.

Hope recovery is quick and painless as possible

    That's just crazy talk.

And after amazon locked out of his smart home stuff, and California changed people's thermostats... no I'm not connecting things online.

    A keypad... maybe.
But then I have to deal with batteries.
