I was dead to the world.

SO was I. Wife got up to go potty. Wakes me up and says she sees lightning. Before I could get up and get out the door it was raining sideways.

Riding out storms in the barn is always fun.

jedi lost power for a few hours last night but back up since 5am.

Wow. The storm was easy on us, I guess. No power further north in Crown Point, and scattered outages all up and down 30. We're all good. I didn't even hear it until I got up in the middle of the night and heard low rumbles. It might have been over by then.

Definitely a couple nights of bad storms. Last night's rolled in just as I was going to bed around midnight. Made it slightly difficult to fall asleep.

After shopping for a new patio table due to Friday mornings storm, I've made a decision. Go grab it at Menards tomorrow. Definitely no more glass top

On all the news outlets, social media, signs up saying no swimming. 3-6' waves. Saw there may have been one at the Portage Beach earlier. Always someone.

Saw the Oppenheimer movie today. I thought the sound track and background noise in the movie obscured a good portion of the dialogue. Could have been the theater acoustics as it was very loud all the time. Notwithstanding, Nighty nite ya’all!

It is hard to believe some of these shows and movies actually have sound engineers and they pay them money and then they put out crap where the noise stomps all over the dialog. It is like they do the voice track and they do the noise track but they never listen to them together.
