My examiner said the general guideline for approvals are: One month dealer to dealer. Four months for form 4s. This was as of last Friday.

Well... I finally got impatient and called to check my status. THEY CAN'T FIND MY ITEM ON RECORD!!!

EDIT: I called them back and pressed a little harder. They found my name on an item with a serial number one digit off of what was on my form. WIERD! Anyhow, she said I was approved on September 18th! WOOT WOOT ... maybe the confusion on the serial number is why it took so long ... ?

Spoke to the NFA branch today and was told that my form is on the examiner's desk waiting on fingerprint approval from the FBI. I am definitely hoping that this is a 2 month transfer!

I got two back Monday that were sent the middle of June.

I've got one that was approved on the 15 of September. It's somehwere between there and the USPS. I think its worse knowing I'm approved but it's just past my finger tips and I can't reach it.

Ours must have been sent out together. Mine was approved on 9/15 and I don't believe Corey has received it yet. I mailed it off May 10 its been a long time. Thirty days after approval you can request a copy of the Form form.
