Curious as to what mods might be worth looking into for a glock 17. I've seen extended magazines but am curious if anyone has had experience with jamming. Also I was going to look into suppressors, light adapters, and grips, but am unaware of what to look for. Ammunition is hard to come by but any decent name brand suggestions would be great. Just looking for some feedback if anyone has any input. Thanks for your time.

Welcome Silent, a G-17 is a nice choice (IMHO), it has a mag capacity standard of 17 rds, 33 rd mags are avaliable, as well as a new drum mag on the market. Supressors and threaded bbls are also on the market, as well as a host of lights, rubber grip sleeves, sight options, and other stuff. Weapon used properly should not jam on you, hold it tight, and any WM brand ammo, Federal/Winchester/Tula/Perfect etc, etc, ammo you find it should feed and gobble up.

Try www.glocktalk.com as well as this excellent internet site for more information.

Steel sights. As far as extended mags, the Glock brand +2's with the insert have been thousands of rounds with no failures in my 19's, as well as the factory 33's. I have just started using the Arredondo +5's, and so far no problems. In my experience with aftermarket parts and Glock's , they cause problems! YMMV
