Last piece of the puzzle arrived today. The Aridus Industries QD-C I pre-ordered a few months ago finally arrived. I didn't waste any time getting it installed and I'm diggin it. My initial thought is that it ends up having a noticeably wider footprint than other side saddles but I don't see it interfering, I don't usually have much competing for the space taken up by the saddle. Construction looks to be solid, the carrier locks in nice and tight and there is no play in the back plate/receiver interface. The only complaint I can come up with at this point is that the attachment screws didn't come with any washers to protect the finish of the receiver. Easily remedied and I'll locate some in the next few days.
