    Still a bit early for north of Indy thats for sure. But they will be a coming.....

    Bring on the warm weather, but I'm guessing I'm still a couple of weeks away from seeing any. There is nothing better than fresh sponges. Another thread talked about crappies. Those 2 are a great springtime meal. Too bad asparagus are a little later.

    You think you have it bad! I actually have had to walk to the OTHER side of the house to find the batch that has been popping up the last few years.

    We found the most of them right by my house and barn last year.

    I posted that pic from my phone so I didn't notice there was snow in that pic. We are just starting to see some green pop up in the last week.

    In a state of acute Pork-i-docis
    Went for a couple hours this afternoon with two buddies in northern Brown County and Monroe County. We found about 50 between the three of us but it was hard looking. Mostly singles, with a few groups of 4-5.
