It appears that many of these thugs attacking citizens on the Monon Trail (as well as other places around our city) share a common trait.

They appear to suffer from a deficiency in their diet... particularly lead.

It seems that all of them need an application of about 230 grains of the substance.

I don't think an AK is the best carry gun for the bathroom. I also remember reading that the muggers are armed. I think having a rifle in the ready position on the Monon is going to be the best way to get the draw on them.

If it were only occasionally that Illinois had a corrupt and socialist ruling class, I would tend to agree with you. I rode on the Westfield\Carmel side of the Monon today and was glad to see a Westfield police car parked right out front for all to see and the officer riding the trail. Didn't make me touchy-feally since I can take car of myself but seeing a few bike patrol officers doesn't hurt anything.

I myself have no desire to ride farther South then Broadripple but to each his own, I have had a few guys look at me in a rather bad way but I think some get the feeling it would be best to move on...

And yes, the 7/1 law will decriminalize it, but it was never illegal. The ordinances that are nullified by the law taking effect 7/1 are in violation of the 2nd amendment and the IN constitution.

The Fantasyland that is the Monon trail. It just happened within the last week, week and a half. The guy was shot a couple times in the legs when he refused to turn over his wallet.

It seems that the majority of gang shootings over the past year or so have resulted in more leg injuries that anything else.

I don't know if it's intentional, or if it is a result of the thug holding their Glock sideways and over their head, while aiming down. My guess is that it is a technique honed over a period of time holding up convenience stores where they have to shoot the clerk after he ducks behind the counter.
