If more of the people committing the violence were wearing orange and kept behind bars, we wouldn't have to worry about their violence, gun-related or otherwise. 2/3 of gun-related fatalities are suicides, which by definition are not "gun violence". Of the remainder, about 2/3 are gang- and drug-related intra-thug-culture fatalities. That leaves about 3,000 gun-related fatalities of actual, innocent victims - not counting whatever number of justified self-defense fatalities.

Deal with the mental health issues that lead to suicide, and stop the thug catch-and-release turnstile "justice" system, mostly in cities mired in decades of liberal social policy, and so-called "gun violence" will all but disappear.
Yeah, but that means having to admit previous policies were wrong, not hand wring, accept responsibilities, and come up with an actual solution.

They managed to get 12 people to come out to Monument Circle today for their stupid Wearing Orange rally. Four adults and 8 kids, who I'm sure had no choice.

I thought this was mommy Shannon's home turf. This is all they could muster?

    It's laughable.
School is out for summer, the MDA ranks will swell until term starts again.

Some of the people in these groups never get tired of leaning on folks who have no interest in committing violent crimes with firearms. Their victims only have a personal interest in self defense.
And it's not uncommon for some, yes some, not all, women or wo men to use whatever and whomever they can to gain political power and leverage. This would include using their own children as the pawn.
And yes, they'll never figure out why people have a need for firearms. I'm just glad they don't need them.

Shannie is steadily losing her mind! The made up stats keep getting better and better. All we need to make it a better Monday is for Dan Aykroyd to say: Shannon, you ignorant slut.

From americasfirstfreedom.org today. “We’ve done polls that show 70 percent of NRA members want background checks.”—Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action, obviously using made-up “data” since NRA membership rolls are not available to any polling organization.
