I've actually found that most of the restaurants in SB/Mishawaka are gun friendly. I've Open Carried at Red Robin, Red Lobster, IHOP, Hacienda, Chik-Fil-A, Texas Roadhouse, Logans Roadhouse, Steak and Shake, Olive Garden, Famous Daves, and BW3 just to name a few. I've never had a problem. The only place I've been asked to leave was Wings, Etc on Ireland/Ironwood, but that was about 8 years ago and things may have changed.
No.....nothing has really changed. In fact I expect if you open carry at Carrabbas you will have the same experience you had at the places you mentioned. The corporate offices care more about it than the local restaurants do.I've actually found that most of the restaurants in SB/Mishawaka are gun friendly. I've only eaten at Carrabas once....not exactly a place I feel the need to visit again. The food wasn't great or terrible and the whole dining experience was forgettable. There are plenty of other places to eat in SB/Mishawaka area that offer the same type of food and atmosphere (without the anti gun crap their doors). I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if there is any news of them seeing the error of their ways and making a change to policy or if I'll have to stop in with one of those "no guns, no $" cards.
BW3's corporate policy is to ban guns.
Went into Anderson's BW3's on Friday OCing. . . . I stood there at the counter no one said a word.
Hmmm... My wife asked for a dinner at Carrabas for her birthday. We usually hit the one in Carmel. I'll have to look for a sign, and will likely be OC (as usual). We've eaten there several times, and it has never been an issue.
I drove by there the other day and the Carmel location looked as though it were closed. It was the middle of the afternoon as well.
Why would there be a next time that you dine there?
The one in Carmel closed a couple of months ago. I guess that the 'no guns' policy drove all of the customers away.Hmmm... My wife asked for a dinner at Carrabas for her birthday.
