Al-Jazeera Producer: ‘Disrespectful’ to Show San Bernardino Jihadi Without Burqa

To the producer, with all respect: Go to Hell.

Here's the thing. It's disrespectful to expect everyone else to know and follow all your customs. That's generally why homogeneous cultures have less internal turmoil because they don't constantly offend each other by projecting disparate beliefs on each other.

This would tend to foster the belief that our 'friends' at Al-Jazeera don't have a problem with shooting infidels if they skip over that to shine about a photo of one of the terrorists.

Well, if it looks like a duck, quacks, like a duck, then it obviously is a duck, unless said duck is mooslim, then it's obviously not a duck, but a protected Canadian goose! Remember, you can't shoot geese without special permission, and only with a neutered shotgun with only 3 rounds!

Our screening process is done by Government employees.
I would tend to believe they were just rubber stamped to make a daily quota.

The Washington Navy Yard shooter and Snowden had their security clearances vetted by the same contractor.

From my own experience: it took forever when I filled out all the forms with all the required info and handed it to the people responsible. That info is now in the hands of the Chinese by the way after the OPM hack. I don't feel warm or fuzzy about someone with no background who is trained to lie being detected.

I had to be cleared to work in the food processing plants on the refrigeration/HVAC systems. GatorAide was very hard to get cleared to work as a contractor.
So these POS get rubber stamped into the country with no over site and cause all of this death and mayhem. "O" scolded the country for wanting to know who the 70K + "Refugees" really are. My head wants to explode.

I have no experience with security clearance, but I do deal with government regulation and DEA permits.

Everything is about paperwork and processing. Just because the process is long and cumbersome, doesn't mean it focuses on anything important.

As long as the bureaucrats make it cumbersome, they justify their existence.

The news story indicates Fareed had a deposit from "webbank.com". Looks like that bank primarily deals in consumer loans. While it could be a transfer from overseas, it could be that he just took out a big loan. If you are dead you don't have to pay it back.
