Just spitballin' here....suppose for a moment that a radical muslim group in Saudi Arabia arranges for mail-order brides for American Muslims. The lad goes over, picks up his wife and she begins indoctrination into radical Islam with him. A religious but non-violent American Muslim thus becomes part of a terrorist cell.

Where was the tremendous expense in this? A couple ARs, a couple pistols, and some ammo. This guy's "arsenal" was hardly awe inspiring. His "IED factory" prolly consisted of some galvanized pipe and some black powder. No big money there.
