Gratz on your choice on the M&P. I have the EXACT same system with the TLR-1. I do highly recommend the full APEX kit which includes more than just the sear. Although, if you do not want to rip apart some parts to the gun, the sear itself will improve the feel of the trigger. I personally wanted the M&P9 JG model w/ the fiber optic front sight and pink back strap (I think it would've been fun to be mouthed off to about that). But I found a decent deal from a member here (360_) on a normal full-sized model.
From the factory, I personally like Glock's trigger more. But the trigger alone couldn't sway me away from the poor ergos.
