Not nearly self deprecating and dull to be tolstoy.Or maybe even Tolstoy.
The name is no longer appearing in member search results, it seems.I agree, a quick search of his name would answer. On the tip of my tongue but can’t quite get it…
PaulF.Who?
good riddance.PaulF.
I thought he was around for the start of it. Hard to remember.Seems like it was longer ago than that. I could be wrong, but I think it was pre-pandemic.

Looks like May 2020 was his last post, that wasn't deleted anyway. I thought he outlasted Kut, but I was wrong about that.

Well. Obviously. It was more of a statement of his irrelevance and playing the game of not mentioning his name. So thanks for that, Denny. It's not lost on me though that we've spent a number of posts talking about him, so how irrelevant is that?PaulF.
He was toxic to most of INGO. I imagine that to a lot of INGO lefties, he is missed.good riddance.
I never understood the militant anti-religion stance he took.He was toxic to most of INGO. I imagine that to a lot of INGO lefties, he is missed.
I always referred to people like that as evangelical atheists.I never understood the militant anti-religion stance he took.
That's not a bad reference. I like it. I usually call them militant atheists. But evangelical atheist is probably more accurate. Nearly all atheists I've encountered have utter contempt for religious people. I think that is what makes them atheist as an identity more than just mere disbelief. They can't just not believe without digging their nails in. It's like they want their disbelief to hurt. PaulF was like that.I always referred to people like that as evangelical atheists.
