I vote for my cat as the official INGO cat. My dogs are afraid of the "crackling" of the fire, let alone gun shots. Don't get me wrong... I love my dogs and have always been a "dog person" (hence my handle), but they're *******.

Yup. Every July the local social media groups get clogged with people complaining about fireworks scaring their dogs. Cats? Cats could not care less - they just hope the humans lose their eyes.

Two of my dogs LOVE fireworks! They tear all over the property chasing them as the neighbors do their thing all around us. We literally have to get the leash out and drag one in the house when we turn in for the night. Hell, she gets excited when we break out a lighter or matches to light the fire pit!

The third is like; Meh! I'll just take a nap over here until the kids go to bed.

Dog, no problem. Cat, that's a problem. I'd self ban if INGO's official animal is a cat.
