Beech Grove's facility is a nice one. It's large, quiet, and not a whiff of powder smoke. Props to those guys for making this happen in Indy. It's the only indoor range I've seen where I would say the comfort level approaches that of an outdoor range, even with large calibers being shot. It's actually quieter than Atterbury's outdoor range...(although with their concrete noise-reflector aimed right at your head, that's not saying much).;)

Thanks also to the Rangemaster, Dan, for keeping things safe and fun. And an NFA-hip eye-candy store to boot. What more could you want?

Robert Combs .22 LR scored 252-3X and is this weeks winner.

Dave Perkinson was second with 242-3X, .22 LR

    B. Brumbaugh was third with 237-1X, .45 Auto

James Hamilton was fourth with 211-2X, .38 special.

James Hamilton was fifth with 196-2X, .22 LR.

    P. J. Welen was sixth with 145-2X, .22 LR.

And Robert Combs was seventh with 87, .40 S&W. You've got to get that ammo problem fixed Robert, good luck.
Great job guys, see you next week.

P.S. All of your previous targets are at the range in the League target box if you want them.

Dan, I'm interested in joining the league at BGF. I'll probably be there next time (April 30). I've read all your explanations, so I think I sort of get the basics. I'm looking forward to it! - Ruth

    FUN!

Well, I showed up last night for the 7:00 show, and I had the whole place to myself! Probably a good thing, too - I STINK! HAHAHAHAHAHA! But that's okay. I had a good time. I intend to come next time, and maybe bring The Boy with me.

Not this week - Boo, hiss...

Well, I won't be there this week after all. :( I have a sinus infection, and I'm worn out. Of course, running the Mini Marathon on Saturday has absolutely nothing to do with it!

Oh she'll survive. She's had a hacking cough for the last three weeks and has a hard time breathing and sleeping.
She couldn't get in to see her doctor so she decided to go to the emergency room to get some kind of relief.
Doctor said she has pulmonary fibrosis, can't do anything for it except inhale Albuteral mist, and the cough was probably a virus and to just tough it out. Yeah right, that's what shes been doing.

    Hi guys and girls.

Well Robert Combs scored a 200 last night with his .22
and he scored 116 with his Glock 23, 40 S&W, the great news is he didn't have any malfunctions since he started taper crimping his handloads.
He did have a malfunction with the .22 but it was ammo that caused it.
He had a good firing pin hit but the ammo failed to fire.
    Have a great week everybody.

P.S. The classroom is up and running now and I have been thinking of having a free, FREE, FREE class by me and maybe Steve might join in on how to sight in and shoot your favorite handgun to help those who are having lower scores than they would like to have.
Spread the word and let us know if you would like to attend.

    Hi guys and girls;

OK, we had a great night tonight and a new shooter will join us next week.

    B. Brumbaugh shooting .45 Auto was our winner tonight with a 239-3X and has a box of ammo (.22, 325rd. count) waiting for him along with 1/2 hr. range time.

Opp's, my bad. no range time but I'll personally cover it for you anyway Brumbaugh.

    Next is
    J.Hamilton .22 with 233
    R. Combs .22 with 224
    J. Hamilton .38 with 175-1X
    R. Combs .40 with 150-1X
    M. Williams .22 with 85
    R. Williams .22 with 84-1X

We had a demo tonight with a Crimson Trace laser site which was enlightening to say the least.
Next week I hope to show some pointers on shooting technique.

    Hi again;

Well the winner last night was:
Robert Combs with a 221 shooting .22 cal.
and he won the 325 ct. box of .22 ammo.
He also shot a 156 with .40 cal.

James Hamilton shot a 204 with .22 cal. and
    a 170 with .38 special.
He also had the quietest loads. I think he
was using only magnum primers with no powder.
LOL. but we all had a great time.
