Bosses see value in their employees in different ways.

I've had employees that are good employees in that they know their jobs, work hard and are knowledgeable. That doesn't mean they are the most valuable if I'm looking for support in making necessary changes to improve my operation. "Butt kisser" is a subjective term. What you may call butt kissing may be support I need to make changes needed.

Eh, maybe I'm just not the type who would want to surround myself with employees who don't challenge me on any level.

Monkey! Monkeys should have civil rights so as to not be forced into these jobs as slaves of the Corporate State. The Big Burger lobby must be forced by the power of Government into mandating that PEOPLE must be ALLOWED to perform these duties and be PAID a LIVING wage of at least $56,000 yearly so as to insure the American Dream for ALL

Don't know. When I was a kid, eating out- even McDonalds was a rare treat...and my Dad was a biomedical engineer.

OK- $15 may well not be a living wage. The minimum wage shouldn't be. Just don't give the libs and those who like to tell others what to do with their money- any ideas. They may well agree that $15 isn't enough.
