This denial is angry. This suggests she doesn’t have the temperament to be a Member of Congress. When someone is accused of something they didn’t do, they must not be angry. They must not be defiant. They must not question the motives of the accuser. They must be calm and serene.

I love how she quoted herself supposedly quoting the Capitol police and the IT specialists. If the capital police said that then I want her to show their statement. No way in hell would I trust her. You can be a criminal and be a member of Congress and a lot have commited crimes while in Congress with the aid of their positions, so they dont automatically get any special trust from me.
    .
If people are threatening her staff, that is UNACCEPTABLE no matter of they did this or not. Let the authorities handle it if a law was broken. Committing additional crimes is just ignorant and escalated things instead of turning the spotlight on the guilty.
    .
If people falsely accused her staff of doing this without any evidence then shame on them. Knock it the hell off. & we all should call out and demand they be fired if they belong to a news organization. This is the kind of **** that's getting us nowhere except closer to an armed conflict
We need to knock this **** off.
The left is plenty guilty of it's own crimes and sleazy and dishonest behavior. It doesnt need any help. It also doesnt need ammo to use against the right in order to legitimize the left and distract us from the truth.
Fake news is unacceptable on ALL sides.

Seems like a lot of denials coming from an organization (Congress) that has its own slush fund to pay off Congessional staffers who have claims of sexual harrassment.

Much is said about "boys will be boys". The reality is that teens will be teens, and many of us (both boys & consenting girls) played touchy feely after sharing a bottle of Boones Farm. Just google teen sex rate and find studies have documented that 62% of teens experienced intercourse while in high school. They can't all be boys!!

She's gained her 15 minutes of fame by insulting the President of the United States, calling him names, being rude, and inviting violence on her enemies (members of the Congress of the U.S.).
She represents what I despise and has me fearing for our future of the U.S.
    ... wait for it.

    what was Ford lying about?

Ford claimed she could not testify on Monday because she cannot fly due to PTSD from the assault. When questioned under oath about her several flights to Hawaii and other island destinations, she said it was easier to fly when she was going to a vacation spot. And, I think she flew to D.C. for Thursday's testimony.
Of course, this does not apply if you expect people to tell the truth only when under oath and find no fault with them lying every other time.

I’m not on the Ford-hate bandwagon. I actually don’t think she’s lying per se. Coached up by lawyers? Absolutely. Everybody is in that kind of situation.

I think she’s probably recalling the events as she remembers them. She says he did. He says he didn’t. So it comes down to (it’s supposed to anyway) evidence. So far there has been no evidence to support the accusation that he did anything. That should be the end of it, but we know that’s now how politics works nowadays.

Maxine Waters and the 92 LA Riots

She had great opportunities to help stop and tone down the riots. She chose to fan the flames get the black communities more excited by praising them which ultimately increased the riots where many more lives and properties were lost.

She will never admit her part back then. Why would she start telling the truth now.

maybe we need to define lying.

I can see where one could believe she is lying but objectively her explanation was valid enough that it wasn't a lie. I've had fears I had to overcome. I can believe that testifying was stressful and I could see where adding the stress of flying there on top of it would be too much.

I have a fear of heights but when I have to get up on a ladder or fly or ride a roller coaster, I am fine once I get up there. Its the waiting in line or in the terminal where i have the most stress.

    1. The date of Monday, Sept. 24 was set early the week before.
    2. That was plenty of time to drive to Washington.
    3. They had until Friday at (I believe) 11PM to accept or decline the hearing.
    4. 2 minutes before the deadline she or her team informed the committee that she could not fly, because, Kavanaugh.
    5. They requested that the hearing be DELAYED until Thursday to give her time to drive.
    6. The Chairman, much to the chagrin of many, allowed the DELAY.
    7. She was given time to drive as she requested.
    8. I would like to see evidence of her EVER having driven a long distance rather than flying.
    9. The Committee hired a female prosecutor that works regularly with abused women to interview Ford.
    10. In the interview ford admitted that she flew to Washington for the hearing.
    11. Under oath she admitted that she flew for
      1. work,
      2. family time,
      3. island travel et al.

That is at very least disingenuous and deceptive. LIES.

Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus.

Any time an overeducated professor of psychobabble from Californicatia appears in front of me, postulating about their own suppressed memories, only being able to answer the who of the who-what-where-when-why puzzle, I am skeptical. I think it's a little too cooincidental that she can only answer ONE of those questions. Give us anything else, anything, and I might have been sympathetic; but no, it's not to be. **** you, and the plane you flew in with. I hope the FBI puts your overeducated liberal ass in jail. I want to see every email she ever wrote, and every phone call ever made and received. Let's get this party going, right now.

p.s.: This from Wikipedia: Gee, I wonder if her dissertation had any personal meaning to her own coping responses to 'interpersonal conflict"

[h=2]Early life and education[/h]Ford grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. From 1978 through 1984,[SUP][3][/SUP] she attended the Holton-Arms School, a private, all-girls university-preparatory schoolin Bethesda, Maryland.[SUP][4][/SUP] While on her regional sports team for diving, she accompanied diver Greg Louganis on a trip to the White House to discuss the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott.[SUP][11][/SUP]
She earned an undergraduate degree in experimental psychology in 1988[SUP][4][/SUP] from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[SUP][3][/SUP] She received a master's degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University in 1991.[SUP][4][/SUP] In 1996, she received a PhD in educational psychology from the University of Southern California.[SUP][4][/SUP]Her 1995 dissertation was entitled Measuring Young Children's Coping Responses to Interpersonal Conflict.[SUP][12][/SUP] In 2009, she earned a master's degree in epidemiology, with a focus on the subject of biostatistics,[SUP][13][/SUP] from Stanford University School of Medicine.[SUP][4][/SUP]

I wonder if she was accompanied by her parents for this trip, unlike her parties she was accustomed to attending? How old would she have been at this time?
