For all of you saying the senate will block, and obama wont have a chance........He just got his budget bill that extends after he's gone and got every single thing he wanted AND MORE. He got obamacare. He got funding for refugees. The republicans continued to fund obamacare. Every single thing has been given to him that he wants. GITMO is releasing people all the time, soon to move here. Cuba is not open. IRS, fast and furious, IRAN DEAL, holy crap people. The republicans have stopped nothing and promised to stop everything. My bet is that this will be the true defining "achievement" of his entire term. He will get through a person so far left, so communistic, so anti america, the court will be completely screwed up and for the foreseeable future every ruling will go the way someone like obama wants. Guns? gone. Single payer will be here in a heartbeat. All you have to do is stack the courts, then no matter what you do, its "consitutional" and anything the other side does is unconsitutional. Its the single flaw in the constitution, and the reason is that the constitution can only run a moral country. Ban all guns? An immoral leftist judge can just say yup and they are gone, unless that is the people dont just give them up, thats another discussion anyways, thats the point. This will be his crowning achievement that will outlast his time as president. Oh and no autopsy done, died with a pillow over his faced fully clothed in a ranch owned by the opposition party, no witness, didnt follow texas law on no witness death, yeah nothing to see here.

It's easier for most people to turn off their brains rather than actually think. The loss of one of our best SCOTUS justices at such a crucial time in our history should raise many more questions than it actually is.

So true, yet even on INGO surrounded by people who are at the top of the list for standing to lose much, you will get shouted down for even pointing out the strange circumstances, let alone suggesting that they amount to anything.

Well, that, plus most of the people at the funeral probably wouldn't want him there. I know in that setting I'd have a difficult time remaining 'respectful of the office'.

He didn't do it all by himself. If his opposition had any spine or political savvy he'd have had a harder time. The spineless turds as his opposition means he can troll them, shame them, and get them to back down. Obama does to Republicans what Trump has done to Bush. I fear that McConnell has sealed the Republican's fate and America's. He's setting himself up to play the same game the Republicans lose time and time again.
