Being that I'm currently from Ohio can I buy handguns from the Indy 1500? If so I'll make the drive after hearing every one talk it up so much!!

Obviously I'm assuming that I can't buy from just a regular person. I'm talking about a dealer?

if the dealer is a ffl then no the gun will have to be transfered to ohio

You have it backward. If it is a dealer he probably won't even talk to you once he finds out you aren't a resident because it would legally have to be transferred to Ohio. Individuals on the other hand can sell to anyone they feel comfortable with. Individuals usually have the better deals anyway but you have to keep your eyes open and moving. Also haggle, most people price their stuff high for the chance that someone will pay whatever, and so they can haggle some.

Ok I said it wrong. It is illegal but most individuals don't know the difference or don't care. They just want to sell their wares. I'm not saying to do it but it does happen alot.

I'm definitely going Friday. Probably Saturday too. I'm looking to buy a Sig P238 and an M&P9c. I also want to look out for a Bersa BP9cc. I just want to see one. I've been hearing about them so long I want to see what they're all about.

I dont know if this was mentioned or not, but I dont have time at the moment to go back through all the pages and search. When it states that all weapons must be unloaded and tied, does that just mean putting a zip tie up through the mag well and slide? Thanks! First time going down, getting pretty excited

Just bring your EMPTY gun up and they will put their own "Special" zip-tie on it for you.

Ill be there Saturday, hopefully early.

I only have 2 goals for this trip:

    1) enjoy the 1500. I dont need anything, but do have a few things Im looking for.
    2) Papa Roux. This is really my #1 reason since Im jonesing for some Papa in a bad way!

Papa opened a new place in City Market a couple of months ago. Same great food just a little bit easier to get to for some of us.

Ok, both my Google-fu and my Ingo search survival skills have failed me. What are the 2012 one- and three-day passes prices?

    Thanks!

Heading there at 4pm to shop for some spare mags and accessories. :rockwoot:

(Sorry for the cross-post between here and Special Events thread.)

So I have been looking for a Judge Public Defender and was thinking about taking the family to the Indy show. I am not really looking for a "deal" as much as a decent price.

By the way anyone know where you can get coupons for the show?
