The jinx is the pistol itself, not on my part. But thanks for the innuendo.

No jamb intended for sure. Just like die hard Glock folks can not envision a burp or fart from their beloved marque I am no different. I have just never had a lot of issues with any of the 1911's I have owned until they get way deep in the round count.

I can understand letting your son shoot a Glock, I guess. :) We can overlook some things but not a bad grip get his left hand a little higher where it belongs. When are we going to see him shooting some matches?

yeah, we were working on that Coach. He'll be along when we can both afford it, her blown engine killed the budget. Next season for sure.

after a little help, still need to get that thumb in line with the wrist.

I hear you on the afford it part. I love having Alyssa shoot but it adds up in a hurry.

Understand. I'm just saying 1911s are the only pistols I've encountered that can't seem to perform flawless out of the box. It's a shame too. At $1200, it should hit the bullseye at 50 without me even handling it. LOL

So you've tried all 30-some different manufacturers of 1911's? Cool. I wish I had that kind of money.

I'm teaching my daughter to shoot now, she's only 7 so I limit it to the Marlin Papoose I got for her. When she's old enough to handle a pistol safely I hope she finds something she likes well enough to want to shoot it! Like said already, our kids are the future. :yesway:

I don't disagree with the guy, I'm just glad that S&W took everything that was right with the Glock and made their version feel good and look good.

M&P, all of the Glock benefits, none of the ugly...
