Are all cell phones, pagers, etc. built with a “self destruct” feature as unadvertised feature? :dunno:

This reminds me of the "spy vs spy" counterespionage tactics of WWII.

So many ruses confusing the enemies and disrupting operations.

Hezzbola will be looking over their shoulders, and under their beds...for months to come.

Regardless of who is ultimately found responsible, this just took a huge amount of pressure off of Isreal.
I'll bet Hamas is sweating a little more now too.

Imagine if they could do this to cellphones. Of course they call them first. Be right up against terrorist noggins then boom.
Israel has been kind of doing this since before cell phones were a thing.
C4 in phone booth phones handset. Listen to the talker and identify the voice. Remotely detonated afterwards.

I think I remember them also switching out office chairs and ect against PLO and SLA leaders in the past pre Hamas and hezballa

They probably beeped him right before they set off the explosives.

They probably timed it perfectly. Watched him for weeks to see how fast he responds to his pages.

What’s the first thing you do when you get a page?

You take it off your belt, and you look with your eyes, he probably got blasted in the face by that thing.

MAYBE if they were lithium batteries. Forget what you know about pagers for this story. These arent the 1990s Motorolas that run on a AA.

Seems Hezbollah didn’t learn from PLO mistakes…look up how Shin Bet got rid of Yahya Ayyash…a small shaped charge inside an old 90s brick phone. I’ve seen a few aftermath pictures of one sitting on a bedroom dresser…not the battery.

So you think they planted explosives in thousands of New pagers going to Hezbollah?
How in the world did they accomplish that feat?
Can you give a brief explanation how this could go down and how it would work?
