I've got two small children at home, we go through milk at a rate of a gallon / 1.5 days. I will contribute jugs as fast as I can gather them. I can also try and round up some drywall, someone pm me with the size that fits the test chamber of death and I'll get them pre-cut for easier transportation. My also be able to contribute some various brands of ammo in a few different calibers (this is totally depending on my purchase power after buying ammo for NFA day)

I will take you up on your offer of the milk jugs as long as having some garbage bags full of jugs doesn't become to much of a bother for you.

Don't worry about the drywall for now. It's fairly easy to find cheaply or free (at construction sites).

Thank you everyone for still being patient, still processing. 6GB worth of video and pictures takes a long time - gonna go to work and upload from there with better speeds.

It will be worth the wait:

And keep an eye out for those evil melons, they are really sneaky, don't trust them even if they come to you with a smile...

You may already be planning on this but is there any way you guys can caption the pictures with Caliber & Range?

We talked through the whole thing - naming calibers and bullet weights. Videos are the bulk of this. I have two computers shoving 36 videos (3.5 GB) up to Youtube as fast as they can.

It will be worth the wait...

are you planning on testing glass also?

Figure you fire in room A, it passed two walls of a closet into Bedroom B then exits a double layer insulated window... Maybe place a cardboard target 15-20feet beyond the window.

Just curious... Can't wait to see the videos.

I'm a fail at work. I can't see any photos or videos at work :xmad:

I'd love to see how Hornady TAP ammo works on drywall and studs.

That's what I currently carry in my G22.

I don't have anything loaded in my AR for Home defense, but it's by the bed, I'd probably use the mag I have full of Military Green tip, but that stuff probably wouldn't stop on anything :) I have 2 mags of Hornady 55 grain V Max for yotes.

I also carry Hornaday TAP JHP's in my G22. I'm suprised you're using an AR for Home defense though. No Shottie to fall back on?

Guess I'll have to go eat some bacon to tide me over till the video gets up . :rockwoot:

Actually, while the science is being put into presentation form, why doesn't everyone get nice and comfortable in their seats and watch this little (mostly) silent film showing what happens when you try and stop scientific progress:

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKHieUmMMPM]YouTube - abc.dv[/ame]

Enjoy and the science will follow soon...

(this is just a bit of goofery!)
