Good ol' IUPUI. I hated the cracker box of a dorm I lived in my freshman year, but boy did I enjoy my interweb speeds!

oh baby do they I can do anything i want besides bittorrent. Im in hte apartments so its alot better than that dorm.

Well, it finally happened!!


Last May, our internet connection was tested at this abysmal rate:





Today, after much waiting on a local company that fizzled out, we decided to go with the new satellite service Exede (WildBlue is the ultimate carrier). They have a new satellite that went operational in January.

For country dwellers that don't have the option of hard wire connections, this is a vast improvement.

The download speed does vary between 4-12 Mbps, but it's a wonderful change from .3 Mbps! I'll take a "B-" over an "F-" any day.

Now Cwood will have to stop harassing me about my stupid slow system!

Wildblue here. I want to upgrade to exceed now but I guess I have to pay the setup fee even though they are the same company.

Right now I pay $50 a month for this...

Smithville internet with their new fiber to the home. TV is teh sucks (well, sorta), but internet is great now. 20 down, 4up advertised. Had to pick up a new router as my old netgear was bottlenecked at 10.

This is probably the best I've gotten. Even lovemywoods gets faster service on satellite internet. I hate dsl. I guess it could be worse.

Download speed:0.128Mbps
Upload speed:0.102Mbps
