I'm plan to bring food as well but until we have a better idea of what the plan is I am going to wait a bit. I.E. grill availability, camping etc. etc.

BTW Here is a gun list for the front page. I also posted the caliber for newbies who may not know what ammo to buy. (9mm = 9mm Luger/Parabellum aka 9x19 - all other 9mm rds will be specified differently as needed)

So how far just to the trees in the cleared out area? I was thinking maybe .30-06 & .308 type of things.

Well, I'm going to try and make this and I don't want to bring any duplicate firearms so hopefully we can get a good variety.

If I can make it, I'd be bringing my FAL, M1 Garand for sure and we'll see what else sneaks in

If I don't sell it before then I will bring my LR-308T with me as well. On the bottom of my barrel is says 7.62X51. On dpms' web site it says if the barrel is marked 7.62 then yes you can shoot both, but if it was just marked .308 then dpms only suggests that the owner shoots .308. but all that is only for dpms and I don't know about any other manufacturer.

Yes, DSA makes them to take the higher pressures of the .308 Win

And I'll probably bring my Tac65 and at least one host gun. I can never seem to leave it behind.

it doesn't say, and I didn't get any paperwork with it when I bought it from Target sports in sheridan, whom I will never give my business to again.

Honestly Im not sure on the "cleared out" area but the trees aren't really that thick in the front portion so we shuld be able to get a lane for a decent distance.

well I'll get a hold of SE tomorrow and see if he just wants to carpool up there. if not I'm pretty sure it will only take me about an hr to get there.

Good catch, I must have missed that when I looked. Sounds like that rifle is likely better suited for heavier bullets.

BTW, I hope a few others who have tactical shotguns or field/trap guns will bring them. I've got plenty of clays and a hand thrower. Plus, I figured we'd get to rip apart some targets on the move, etc.!
